Salvaging wood is better for the environment, rather than cutting down more and more trees. We cut down all the old growth forest, and didn’t realize what good we had until it was gone. The first parts of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle often gets forgotten — REDUCE the amount we consume, REUSE what we already have.
