Two other panels about the same size
These are chestnut carved wall panels from the Church of the Good Shepherd in Philadelphia. The cornerstone was laid by Rt. Rev. Ozi W. Whitaker, Bishop of Pennsylvania in the late 19th century. The Alpha and Omega design is meant to symbolize the “comprehensiveness of God”, that he is the “beginning and the end”.
