Green was placed on the starboard side (right) and red on the port (left). The Fresnel lens, also used in lighthouses, has been called "the invention that saved a million ships,” as its design allows its light to be more visible from afar.

St. Laurentius was a cornerstone of a community for over a century. Built in 1882, and since been iconic for its beautiful facade and towers. Neighbors had fought for the church to be saved, but the owner and Philadelphia L&I agreed it was structurally unsound.
These gorgeous chandeliers lit the worship space, filling it with light from above. They have been fit with electric lights to glow through the marbled glass sides. Of the 11, we have 9 remaining for purchase.

While copper has been hammered into beautiful forms for centuries, this lamp came into existence during the Roaring 20s. With their love of glitz, glam, and fringe, it was surely a statement piece for whatever Gatsbyesque mansion it was in.
